AD8227 Product Overview

The AD8227 is a wide-voltage-range instrumentation amplifier from ADI. Its gain can be set via a single external resistor, with a gain range of 5 to 1000. The device supports single-supply operation from 2.2 V to 36 V and dual-supply operation from ±1.5 V to ±18 V. a rail-to-rail output architecture, with input voltages capable of falling below ground potential. It can amplify weak differential signals close to ground potential even in single-supply systems. The input features built-in overvoltage protection, capable of withstanding input voltages higher than the supply rails, making it suitable for extracting small signals from sensors in complex electromagnetic environments in industrial field applications. It operates over a temperature range of –40°C to +125°C and is available in two package options, SOIC-8 and MSOP-8, suitable for high-density, multi-channel PCB layout designs.
