Product Overview
The AD9520 / AD9522 are multi-output clock generators launched by ADI, featuring an integrated VCO and a programmable PLL, and providing 12 output channels. Each output channel can be independently configured as an LVPECL, LVDS or CMOS output; when configured as CMOS, each channel can be expanded to two CMOS outputs, thus providing up to 24 CMOS clock outputs, making them ideal for systems requiring multi-channel, low-jitter clock distribution.
The AD9520 series incorporates an EEPROM to store user configurations and enable automatic loading upon power-up; the AD9522 series does not include an EEPROM and is programmed via an SPI interface.
