The LTC3245 is a switch-capacitor buck-boost DC/DC converter introduced by ADI, capable of generating a stable output (3.3V, 5V or adjustable) from an input ranging from 2.7V to 38V. The device utilises switch-capacitor fractional conversion to maintain regulation over a wide input voltage range. The internal circuitry automatically selects the conversion ratio to optimise efficiency as input voltage and load conditions vary. No inductor is required.

The LTC3255 is a switch-capacitor step-down DC/DC converter from ADI that can generate a stable output (adjustable from 2.4 V to 12.5 V) from an input ranging from 4 V to 48 V. In applications where the input voltage exceeds twice the output voltage, a 2:1 capacitive charge pump extends the output current capability beyond the input supply current limit. Under no-load conditions, Burst Mode® operation reduces the VIN quiescent current to 16 μA.
