The LSM303 offers user-selectable full-scale linear acceleration ranges of ±2g, ±4g, ±8g and ±16g, and can measure acceleration with output data frequencies ranging from 1 Hz to 6,400 Hz. The device has a magnetic field dynamic range of ±50 gauss, with output data frequencies ranging from 10 Hz to 100 Hz. The LSM303 incorporates an I²C serial bus interface supporting Standard Mode, Fast Mode+ and High-Speed Mode (100 kHz, 400 kHz, 1 MHz and 3.4 MHz), as well as a standard SPI serial interface.
